Thu, 26 January 2006 United Press International: Long thought to fly above children's air space, psychiatric conditions such as depression have only in recent years started appearing on the pediatric radar. Anxiety disorders are now estimated to affect 13 in 100 children and adolescents ages 9 to 17, about half of whom also experience a second mental or behavioral ailment, such as social phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder or depression. Others may suffer a co-existing physical malady that commands -- and confounds -- treatment, according to a report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The Psychaitric Industry is an income driven destroyer of lives. The industry does its choosing of what diseases are "newly discovered" in the same way people in a group decide where to go for lunch. There is no test for the "diseases" they claim are based on their mythological chemical imbalance of the brain. People like you are the disease of this world. Drug companies make money. That is all they are legally obliged to do. If they found a cure, that would be less pople to buy their pills. End the insanity, ban Psychiatry and prosecute the drug companies!!
